To BE IN SOUP is to be in trouble. It’s an idiomatic expression.
If you’re the SALT of the earth, being in SOUP is part of your journey🤓💆♀️
Like you, I don’t like to get into TROUBLE, simply because trouble is TROUBLEsome😫😔😢
However, we may not always choose the trouble that comes our way😰
You may have even heard the expression, “Don’t trouble trouble so that trouble won’t trouble you”, BUT the way trouble works ehn, it can still trouble you when you have not even troubled it.
Job was an UPRIGHT man who FEARED GOD and STAYED AWAY from evil, yet trouble troubled him.
“For man is born for trouble, [As naturally] as sparks fly upward.”
Job 5:7 AMP
Abraham, David, Deborah, Esther, Danïel, Paul, Peter, John and all the inspiring heroes of faith found themselves in soup at some point or the other.
‼️Good thing is, SOUP doesn’t destroy SALT. The SALT CHANGES THE SOUP‼️
SOUP gives SALT the opportunity to manifest salt’s TRUE FLAVOUR.
Trouble always provides the opportunity for glory.
Job followed up his observation about trouble with this decision…
““As for me, I would seek God and inquire of Him, And I would commit my cause to God; Who does great and unsearchable things, Marvelous things without number.”
Job 5:8-9 AMP
God doesn’t promise us a TROUBLE-FREE life. He promises to be with us and deliver us NO MATTER how HOT THE SOUP IS.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all. He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.”
Psalms 34:19-20 NKJV
